Swimming Dry Land Strength & Power Program
Swimming has a very unique skill set that allows these athletes to cut through the water. Having trained numerous state qualifiers and current Olympic hopefuls, we work on muscle balance, explosive power, and enhancing the muscles used for swimming. Keeping our swimmers healthy year round is our number one goal. We focus on strengthening the shoulder girdle, back muscles, and scapular tracking to create symmetry for swimming. We build strength and advance to power exercises to help with explosive starts and turns. Our core training focuses on all planes of movement and is periodized to peak our athletes for state championships and personal bests at the right times during the year.
